Mark your calendars—it’s time to gather, learn, and grow at the PowerWomen Speaker Series! Don't miss Jody Nelson as she takes us through "Time Management, Priorities, and Balance”
Jody is a dynamic leader with over 30 years of experience driving business growth, developing high-performing teams, and inspiring organizational excellence. Most recently, she served as CEO of Lysi Bishop Real Estate, one of the top 10 real estate teams nationally under Keller Williams Realty, the world’s largest brokerage.
Â
Jody’s leadership journey began at Boise State University, where she managed a residence hall of 450 students and taught leadership courses. After seven successful years, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to open her first personal training facility in Eagle, Idaho, in 2003. As the business flourished, she expanded her reach by opening a second studio in the newly developed Bown Crossing, building thriving client communities before transitioning to new ventures.
Â
After selling her fitness businesses, Jody leveraged her operational expertise to lead as Vice President of Operations for an engineering and construction firm. In this role, she oversaw the workload of 100 engineers, managed multi-million-dollar budgets across seven offices in the U.S. and Canada, and executed large-scale projects with precision and focus.
Â
Fueled by her passion for leadership and personal growth, Jody founded JodyLeadz—a platform dedicated to empowering business leaders to thrive. Through coaching, teaching, and high-energy inspiration, Jody equips professionals with the tools and strategies to excel in their leadership journeys, foster team success, and embrace authentic growth.
Â
A farm girl turned competitive gymnast, Jody learned early that grit, determination, and hard work are essential to building a life of impact. These values continue to guide her as she balances being a devoted mom, wife, community volunteer, and business leader.
Â
Jody’s mantra, “Bring the Energy,” embodies her commitment to showing up fully in every moment—whether at home, coaching individuals, in the boardroom, or on stage inspiring others. Her mission is to help individuals and teams unlock their potential, live with intention, and create lasting success.
