Amber's Bio
Amber Golden is a fourth-generation entrepreneur, leadership consultant, transformation coach, investor matchmaker, and fierce advocate for women rewriting the rules of leadership and reinvention after 50. She is the founder of the Golden Leadership Institute and The Queen Chapter, two powerful platforms guiding women and business leaders to claim their next chapter financially, personally, and professionallyâwith clarity, confidence, and unapologetic momentum.
Amber has worn many crowns throughout her life: TV producer, school founder, real estate investor, nonprofit leader, award-winning advocate, and best-selling author. But through it all, the throughline remains: transformation. Whether sheâs connecting investors to opportunities, helping women reclaim their voice and vision, or building systems for CEOs ready to step into a new level of leadership, Amber leads with a rare blend of grit, grace, and strategic brilliance.
She knows how to start from scratch. More importantly, she knows how to start from experience. Because sheâs done it. More than once.
Amber began her career in entertainment, working on the Leeza Gibbons Show before moving into production roles on high-profile projects like the inaugural Screen Actors Guild Awards and a variety of television programs. Her early years in TV taught her how to manage fast-moving teams, deliver under pressure, and produce results that kept audiences engagedâall foundational skills she would later carry into leadership, education, and entrepreneurship.
Her journey into leadership didnât begin in a boardroom. It began when she was just nine years old. Thatâs when Amber stepped into her first personal development training, igniting a lifelong belief that anything is possible. Having struggled in school, she quickly learned to find value and identity outside the traditional system. âSchool didnât see me,â she says. âSo I learned to see others.â That disconnect became the foundation of her mission to create systems that honor the whole person and make space for voices too often overlooked.
By 19, Amber was already demonstrating her ability to lead. She organized a group of 30 adults, all of them older than her, to take time off work and travel to the mountains, where she led them through a transformational course. That experience confirmed what she already felt in her bones: not only could she lead, she could move people and build movements.
In her late 20s, she was invited as a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show for her boldness and her belief in the power of sharing your story. It was a national moment that confirmed what so many around her already knewâAmber had something to say, and people were ready to listen.
After a successful career as a television line producer, Amber co-founded iLEAD Schools and the Maker Learning Network, which served over 8,000 students annually across multiple states. What began as a desire to give her own children a more well rounded education evolved into a larger movement in education innovation. With more than 700 staff and a leadership-focused, project-based approach, Amber shaped a model that empowered students and staff to lead, think critically, and dream boldly.
As iLEAD and Maker Learning Network expanded, so did Amberâs advocacy. She became a leading voice for charter school equity and educational innovation, working closely with lawmakers in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. Her powerful, bridge-building communication earned her recognition among her peers as âcharter school royalty,â a title that reflected her impact on the national education landscape.
Amberâs leadership and outreach earned her multiple awards for executive leadership and advocacy, recognizing both her business acumen and her mission-driven approach. Her influence reached global audiences when she became the first female keynote speaker at the well respected Pinegrove School in India, where she was honored as Chief Guest. It was a landmark moment, not only for the school, but for Amber's legacy of trailblazing leadership.
But like many women, Amberâs story includes the invisible chapters too. Divorce. Grief. Starting over. After the passing of her mother and the end of her marriage, Amber entered a new chapter. No longer building for everyone else, she began building for herself again. That experience inspired the birth of The Queen Chapter, a coaching and mastermind community for women over 50 navigating what she calls the â5 Dâsââdivorce, death, disease, disaster, or default. These women are often accomplished but exhausted, powerful but quietly questioning what comes next. Amber helps them rediscover who they are and reinvent where theyâre going.
Her R.O.Y.A.L. MethodâRecognize, Own, Yield, Aspire, Leadâis the foundation of this work, offering a clear and compassionate roadmap through transformation. Amberâs clients donât just heal or bounce back. They grow businesses, reclaim wealth, and lead lives on their own terms.
Through the Golden Leadership Institute, Amber also works with CEOs, founders, and business leaders to build the systems they need to grow sustainably. Her signature programs and strategic corporate consulting, Launchpad and Sync90, help leaders turn scattered operations into streamlined systems that unlock team autonomy, reduce overwhelm, and prepare businesses for lasting impact by bringing clarity and systems to leaders.
Amber is also a trusted deal matchmaker, connecting aligned investors with high-quality alternative investment opportunities . She translates complexity into clarity and empowers women to step into wealth-building spaces with confidence. Her work demystifies investing and opens doors that have historically been closed to women and underestimated communities.
Amberâs leadership style is shaped by her own reinventions, but also by what sheâs witnessed in others: the untapped potential in women who have spent decades taking care of everything and everyone except themselves. She believes in legacy, not the dusty kind, but the living kind. The kind passed down in confidence, courage, and choices.
Amber is a five-time best-selling author, and her books explore the intersections of power, reinvention, wealth, and purpose. She is a sought-after speaker at conferences, womenâs leadership summits, and entrepreneurial gatherings, known for her mix of wisdom, warmth, and no-nonsense honesty.
When sheâs not building businesses or coaching queens, youâll find her on a tennis court, sipping a green smoothie, or FaceTiming her two adult childrenâher greatest source of joy. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, but her work and her mission extend far beyond one place.
Amberâs work is grounded in one truth: reinvention isnât about becoming someone else. Itâs about remembering who you were before the world told you to play small.
And sheâs not just talking about it.
Sheâs building a world where women no longer have to choose between wealth and worth, power and peace, impact and intimacy.
Because Amber doesnât believe in reinvention as a return.
She believes in invention as a rising.
